Role · The Agreement
Using Roleworks
Roleworks is provided as an AI-assisted decision-support tool, subject to these terms, the AI Disclaimer and the Acceptable Use Policy.
Responsibilities
- You must be able to form a binding contract and be at least 18.
- You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping credentials secure.
- The AI Disclaimer and Acceptable Use Policy are incorporated into these terms.
Role · The Quartermaster
Subscriptions & billing
Roleworks is sold as a pure subscription in US dollars. There are no credits or metered usage charges.
Responsibilities
- Paid plans renew automatically each billing period (monthly or yearly) until cancelled; you authorise recurring USD charges.
- You can cancel anytime in your account settings and keep access until the end of the current period.
- Your card or bank statement will show the descriptor “ROLEWORKS MATCH”.
- Payments are processed by third-party providers (such as Stripe, and where applicable a merchant of record) who may appear on your statement and receipts.
- Monthly report allowances do not roll over. Cancellation and refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.
Role · The IP Holder
Intellectual property & your content
We keep our rights; you keep yours. You grant us only what we need to deliver the service.
Responsibilities
- The Roleworks platform, brand and method are owned by Roleworks Limited.
- You retain ownership of the briefs and content you submit.
- You grant us a limited licence to process your content to generate your reports.
Role · The Limit
Warranties & liability
The service is provided “as is”. Roleworks outputs are suggestions, not guarantees.
Responsibilities
- No warranty of accuracy, validity, merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
- To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the fees you paid in the prior 12 months.
- We are not liable for decisions made using Roleworks outputs.
Role · The Jurisdiction
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand, and the courts of New Zealand have exclusive jurisdiction, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
Responsibilities
- Governing law: New Zealand.
- Mandatory consumer protections in your own country still apply where required.
- If any provision is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
- We may update these terms; material changes will be notified by email or in-product before they take effect. Questions: support@roleworksnz.com.
